WHY ERGONOMICS & MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING MATTERS

Poor manual handling techniques and incorrect workstation setups are among the leading causes of workplace injuries, including back strain, repetitive strain injuries, and long-term musculoskeletal disorders. Investing in ergonomics and manual handling training not only ensures compliance with legal health and safety obligations but also helps employers create a safer, more efficient working environment. Employees trained in best practices are more likely to avoid injury, take proactive steps to reduce risk, and contribute to a positive safety culture within their teams.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND ACCESSIBILITY

This course has been developed to be fully accessible with no prior knowledge or qualifications required, making it suitable for staff across all industries and experience levels. Delivered as a self-development eLearning course, delegates have the flexibility to choose when and where they study, helping them fit training into busy schedules without compromising quality. The course is structured into clear modules and is accessed through our secure online portal, where learners can also download their questionnaire and, upon successful completion, receive their certificate via email. Once the questionnaire is completed, it should be returned to ALM for marking. Throughout the course, learners are supported by experienced tutors who are available by email or phone to answer any queries and offer guidance.
